SkyWalk Poronin - a new attraction on the Podhale map
08.09.2025
If you’re looking for a truly unique attraction that combines unforgettable experiences with closeness to nature, SkyWalk Poronin will be the perfect choice. This newly opened sky path has quickly won the hearts of visitors coming to Podhale. A thoughtful concept, unique architecture, and breathtaking views come together to create an experience you simply can’t miss when in the area!
What does the sky path offer?
SkyWalk Poronin is a wooden walkway stretching for 854 meters, rising to an altitude of over 1075 m a.s.l., and ending with a glass viewing terrace of 75 m². Thanks to its gentle incline and wide path, the attraction is accessible to everyone: families with children, seniors, people with disabilities, as well as those looking for a more dynamic experience. You can choose the classic walkway with scenic viewpoints and relaxation zones or take the alternative route with climbing nets and “spider” crossings suspended above the ground.
Along the path, you’ll find plenty of educational and interactive elements – from boards with local legends to creative photo spots. For thrill-seekers, there are two slides that take you from the tower back down – a real treat for both kids and adults. Please note that the slides are extra paid attractions (card payment on-site) and are open only in good weather conditions.
Opening hours & visitor information
SkyWalk Poronin is open all year round, but opening hours vary by season:
- November to March: 9:00–17:00
- April and October: until 18:00
- May to September: until 19:00
There are six large parking lots available, so finding a spot should not be an issue regardless of the time of day.
Good to know:
- Pets are not allowed.
- Tickets are available only on-site – there is no option to book online.
- Arrive a little earlier – the last entry is possible one hour before closing.
Close to nature and tradition
What makes SkyWalk Poronin stand out among other attractions in the region is its harmonious blend of modernity with local cultural heritage. The project was inspired by the symbol of the Góral heart – a sign of love for nature, community, and Podhale traditions. The shape of the structure and its decorative elements draw on regional patterns and Christian symbolism. This way, the entire construction perfectly complements the landscape – becoming part of nature rather than dominating it.
From the viewing terrace, a panoramic view of the entire Tatra range stretches before you – and on clear days, you can even see the Slovak side. It’s the perfect place for relaxation, contemplation, and taking unforgettable photos.
